Special thanks must go to the club. Without their considerable assistance the book could not have been done. From help with the historical content, the priceless shirts in the museum they allowed us to use, selling the book in the club shop, letting us film numerous times both at Molineux and Compton etc. they have been nothing short of brilliant.

All profits from the book will be donated to Birmingham Childrens Hospital cancer unit.Target is £30,000 with £22,000 already donated. Many thanks to the Subscribers and Sponsors and everyone who helped make this possible.

To celebrate the launch of the book, the oldest brewery in the UK, Three Tuns in the stunning Shropshire village of Bishop's Castle donated 8 barrels of a special beer,an Indian pale ale 'they wore the shirt' with all proceeds going to the charity. To find out more about the brewery and perhaps even arrange a tour, click here.

Many people got involved and helped with the project, not least the former and current players who gave up their time on various occasions.
